Annelise Marie (Brody) Lengyel

With deep sorrow and much love, we mourn the passing of Annelise (Annie) Lengyel (Brody) on May 1, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born June 26, 1953, Annie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 19 years, Gordon; her children, Danny, Shawnee, Shannon (John), and Chris; her stepchildren, Sarah and Michael; and her eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Joyce Brody, and a grandchild, Alex.

Annie was a kind and gentle soul who cherished her family, spending countless hours creating beautiful carvings for her children. Her gentle nature, wisdom, and devotion inspired all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking and spending quality time with her husband, Gordon. Her faith, as expressed in John 14:1-7, offered her comfort:

“Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me. If you had known me, you would have known my father also; henceforth you know him and have seen him.”

A private family service will be held later this year.
