Cameron Patrick Cole

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cameron Patrick Cole, 61, of Winnipeg, MB, on Monday, October 14th, 2024.

Born on May 26th,1963 in Dauphin, Manitoba, to loving parents Karl and Betty Cole, Cameron briefly lived in Hamilton, ON, and Roblin, MB before his family, including his siblings Darryl and Holly Cole, settled in Winnipeg. There, Cameron attended Carpathia Elementary School, St. John Brebeuf Catholic School, and J.B. Mitchell Junior High School before graduating from Kelvin High School in 1979.

Cameron’s passion for working with individuals with special needs led him to have a successful 19-year career with Pulford Community Living Services. While his work with Pulford was very fulfilling, Cameron kept himself busy by working 7-days a week when he began his second job, working with Indigenous youth and adults at K+D Transitions.

In more recent years, Cameron was faced with serious health concerns, leading to the below-knee amputation of his left leg. After a lengthy stay in the hospital, Cameron courageously adjusted to life with a physical disability, and settled into his new home at Ten Ten Sinclair Housing Inc.

Cameron is survived by his loving partner, Kellie Parisian, with whom he celebrated his 28th anniversary in September, his sons Kyle and Denis Cole, as well as his grandchildren.

Also mourning Cameron’s passing are his countless, beloved friends. Through his best friend Todd Norris, lifelong friends Cedric Mason and John Yu, and new friends from Ten Ten Sinclair Housing Inc. stories and cherished memories of Cameron’s humour and vibrant personality will live on.

Cameron was predeceased by his parents, Karl and Betty Cole, his sister Holly Cole, and his brother Darryl Cole.

A celebration of life will be held on a future date, at Ten Ten Sinclair Housing Inc. in Winnipeg, where his family and friends are welcome to gather, share stories and memories of Cameron, and enjoy light refreshments.
