Colin's life was a remarkable testament to courage, joy, and faith. A life that was full and meaningful. A life that touched many hearts.
Known for his extraordinary memory, sense of humour, and loyal spirit, Colin found friendship and purpose through Winnipeg Harvest and the Salvation Army Community Venture program. He loved Star Wars, collecting books and music, and keeping up with current events.
He was deeply loved by his family: his mother, Margot, and Greg; his brother, Tim; his aunts and uncles; and his nieces and nephews, Javen, Catherine, Jasmine, and Ethan. He had a special love for the youngest members of the family, Makoto and Evelyn. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for the joy, kindness, and unique gifts he shared with everyone whose lives he touched.
Colin's faith guided him throughout his life. His favourite prayer was Psalm 23, and among his final words were, "I love the Lord."
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."
Psalm 23
