Diana Anderson Obituary
With much sorrow and love, we mourn the passing of Diana Leona Anderson of Winnipeg, Manitoba, on August 6, 2025, at the age of 82.
Diana is deeply missed by her husband of nearly 60 years, Russell; her daughter Jen; and her son, Jason.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Olga Stasiuk; siblings Ed and Della; and son-in-law Sean.
Born January 28, 1943, outside of Riverton, MB, Diana was raised in a musical household and shared many fond memories of spending time with her family making music together, with her on the accordion.
Her love of music continued throughout her life, and she would listen to her favorite singers and bands at every opportunity. Diana loved all animals, and her happiest place was with her husband sitting on the porch watching the birds, squirrels and neighborhood pets that would come by. She was an avid Winnipeg Jets fan and would never miss watching a game on TV.
Diana’s family miss their patient and loving wife and mother, and her quiet but fierce spirit. Those she loved, she loved with all her heart and soul.
Cremation has already taken place. Donations in Diana’s honour can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
