Emmanuel Oruemeka Onyeacholem was born on June 5, 1994, to the family of Bro. Benson and Sister Grace Onyeacholem of Ika South Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria.
He began his education at Chibolan Private School, Lagos, and later attended schools in Lagos and Abuja, where he completed his secondary education. Driven by a passion for technology and learning, Emmanuel gained admission to McPherson University, where he studied Computer Science and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons.) degree.
Following his graduation, Emmanuel devoted himself to education and community development by teaching Mathematics and Computer Science at Ben-Grace Schools, Lagos, a school established by his parents. He also worked in several organizations as a Computer Analyst, gaining valuable professional experience while preparing for the next chapter of his life.
With hopes of a brighter future and a long-awaited reunion with family members already residing in Canada, Emmanuel embarked on a journey filled with dreams, determination, and aspirations for greater opportunities. He looked forward to building a meaningful life, contributing positively to society, and creating a better future for himself and those he loved.
Tragically, those dreams were cut short on May 8, 2026, when Emmanuel passed away under circumstances that remain deeply painful and raise many unanswered questions for his family and loved ones. His sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew him and transformed a journey of hope into a season of profound grief.
Emmanuel will be remembered for his gentle spirit, humility, resilience, dedication to learning, and unwavering determination to succeed. He touched many lives through his kindness, warmth, and willingness to help others. Though his earthly journey was far too brief, the impact of his life and the memories he created will remain forever cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his parents, siblings, extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will continue to honor his memory and celebrate the life he lived.
Forever Loved, Forever Remembered, Forever Missed.
From Dad,
TRIBUTE TO MY SON, EMMANUEL ONYEACHOLEM
Writing a tribute to one's child is one of the most difficult things a parent can ever do. Parents naturally expect their children to outlive them, yet life sometimes unfolds in ways we cannot understand.
Emmanuel, fondly called Emma, was a gentle, humble, and contented young man. He was grateful for whatever he had and never demanded more than was given to him. His simplicity, humility, and respect for others were qualities that endeared him to everyone who knew him.
His passing has left a void in our family that cannot be filled. As our first child, he carried a special place in our hearts and will always be remembered for the love, peace, and example he gave to his siblings and all who knew him.
Though we mourn his loss, we take comfort in knowing that his life was a blessing and his memory will remain with us forever.
Emma, we love you deeply, but God loves you more. Rest peacefully until we meet again.

From Mom,
TRIBUTE TO MY SON, EMMANUEL ONYEACHOLEM
Emmanuel Oruemeka,
You broke my heart. Your death is so painful to me that I cannot fully express it in words.
You left the house that fateful morning without waiting for me to come back. I never knew that would be the last time I would see you. If I had known, I would have held on to you a little longer.
The pain of losing you is one I carry every day, but I thank God for the gift of your life and for the memories we shared.
I will forever miss you, my son, but God loves you most. Until we meet again, never to part anymore.
Oruemeka, may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
Your Loving Mother

From Brother Zico,
Tribute to My Brother, Emmanuel Onyeacholem
Emmanuel, my brother, my friend, and my companion through life.
We grew up together, so close in age that we shared much of life's journey side by side. Through the years, distance may have separated us, but our bond never changed.
I looked forward to spending more times with you as we journeyed through adulthood and progressed through life together. Never did I imagine that our reunion would be our last.
Words fail me as I try to express this loss, but God knows best. Sometimes, I catch myself thinking about you, and the tears come without warning.
Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the love. I will do my best to keep our family strong and united, just as you would have wanted. Please watch over us, brother.
Forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
Rest well until we meet again.
Your Brother
Zico
From Brother Uche Onyeacholem,
TRIBUTE TO MY BROTHER, EMMANUEL ONYEACHOLEM
Emmanuel, we came to Canada together and shared a journey that neither of us could have imagined. You were not just my big brother, but one of my closest friends. We lived together, supported each other, and dreamed of a brighter future.
Losing you has been one of the most painful experiences of my life. The uncertainty of your disappearance and the reality of your passing left wounds that words cannot fully express. There are still moments when I find myself thinking about you and wishing you were here.
Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the time we shared. Though your life was cut short, your impact will remain with me forever. I will continue to carry your memory and keep your legacy alive.
Rest peacefully, my brother. Until we meet again.

From Brother David Onyeacholem,
TRIBUTE TO EMMANUEL ONYEACHOLEM
The first brother who protected me, believed in me, introduced me to technology, and showed me what true brotherhood is all about.
You were overprotective, smart—so smart that I still wish I could be as intelligent as you—funny, playful, loving, and competitive all at once. I will always remember the countless hours we spent playing ping pong together, turning every game into a competition and every moment into a memory. Those are memories I will cherish for the rest of my life.
You were more than my older brother; you were someone I looked up to, learned from, and admired. Your guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support helped shape the person I am today.
Although you are no longer here with me physically, I know your spirit will always remain by my side. Losing you has left a space in my heart that can never truly be filled, but I will carry your lessons, your laughter, and your love with me forever.
Rest easy, Big Bro. You will always be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. I promise to make you proud in every aspect of my life and to honor your legacy through the way I live, learn, and treat others.
Your lovely brother
David O.
