After a brief battle with cancer, it is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eva Taylor at the age of 84.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl; sons, Brian (Kara) and Gary; grandchildren, Victoria (Dee), Elizabeth (Dustin), Chelsea (Jimmy), Richard (Whitney), Kristin (Evan); great-grandchildren, Ryker, Layla, Thayne, Gunner, Astrid, James and Katie.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years Claude (Buck) Taylor and her daughter Kathleen Taylor.
Eva was born in Winnipeg, growing up in Transcona. Eva loved working in her yard and gardens and it showed in her immaculately groomed yard. She spent many hours knitting and sewing items for craft sales. She sold many antiques and crafts when she and Buck resided in Lac du Bonnet and was a regular at Scattered Seeds for many years, as well as Springs Church, Beausejour, Transcona Country Club, Signature Craft Sale and Miles Mac School Christmas Craft sale to name a few.
As per Eva’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
Donations may be made in Eva’s memory to Cancer Care or a charity of your choice.
The family wishes to send special thanks to the many Doctors and staff at Concordia Hospital and especially Pansu ward for their kind care and compassion in her final days.
