Henry Kaestle was born, Heinrich William Kaestle on July 22, 1942, in Munich, Germany. He lived there until he immigrated to Canada at the age of 19 years, where he took his certificate of master printer and worked as a lithographer for over 55 years with Shaw Printing in the heart of Winnipeg on Water St., now William Stevenson's Way. He married his beloved wife Shirley Prideaux of Winnipeg, MB in spring of 1968, a marriage lasting 56 years to the day of his passing on August 24, 2024.
