Howard Kenneth Stertz, born November 13, 1934, fondly known to all as Ken, peacefully passed away at Concordia Hospital on February 2, 2025.
Ken was a loving husband to his predeceased wife Shirley, a devoted father to his predeceased son Rob and surviving daughter Shelley.
Ken's love for his family was unparalleled. He embodied dedication and was the cornerstone of support and love for those closest to him. His passion for construction was evident in every project he undertook. His knowledge, skill, and talent in building were exceptional, earning him great respect and admiration from his peers, as well as his competitors.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ken had a deep love for his cottage at Pickerel Lake. He spent countless years enjoying fishing, golfing, spending time with family and friends, creating many cherished memories. His appreciation for the outdoors was a testament to his gentle spirit and love for life's simple pleasures.
Ken's legacy will continue to live on through the stories, lessons, and love he imparted to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest in peace, Ken. Your memory will be a guiding light for us all.
