Martin Ross Cahalin, 68, passed away on December 19, 2025, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was born in Montreal, Canada.

Ross is survived by his son, Andy Cahalin, and his daughter, Katie Cahalin. He was predeceased by his brother, Anthony Cahalin, and his parents, Eileen Cahalin and Martin Cahalin.

Ross was a quietly thoughtful, intelligent, and observant man, known for his dry sense of humor and sharp wit. He felt emotions deeply and carried a passionate love for music, especially classic rock. He also thoroughly enjoyed watching sports and following his favorite teams. He often would call his son his “raison d’être.” and his daughter, his "baby blue".

Ross will be remembered for his depth, sensitivity, and the unique way he experienced the world. He is deeply loved and will be missed by his family.
