Stephen Paul Wilkerson

With sadness we announce the passing of Stephen Wilkerson May 14th 1957- Oct 20 2025

He is survived by his mother Beverly Davidson, sisters Judy (Phil), Shari (George) and brother Ted (Dale).

He is lovingly remembered by the Van Egmond's who he considered family. Cornel and Agnes and their 7 children. Jacob (Sam), Mark (Emily & son), Cornel Jr ( Hannah and 4 children), William, Matthew, Josiah(Mariana) and Martina (Logan).

Steve was born in Niagara Falls Ontario, lived in Hamilton Ontario until he moved to Manitoba in his teens. He met Cornel and Agnes doing research up in Churchill on the Hudson Bay. He was passionately interested in everything from music ( he played the drums), to the Arts ( especially the Impressionists), to the science ( his Master's degree was studying snow and climate).

Steve was blessed with very high intelligence and he had a God given gift to teach people of all levels and all subjects. He found great enjoyment in seeing the light of understanding in his studies. 

His time worshipping at his home church Providence Reformed Church was the highlight of his week and being with "his people" energized him for the week. He often came home singing with all his heart.

Steve was a brave soul who had great determination to overcome all the hardships and obstacles before him but we are encouraged that he is now walking, leaping, and praising God with Jesus Christ his saviour.
