Tinie Dekoning

It is with profound sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Tinie Dekoning on April 14th, 2025.

Tinie was born September 5th, 1948, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Tinie was predeceased by her parents, Michael Hyndka and Barbara Dekoning; her brothers, Cory and Frank; and son-in-law, Richard.

Tinie is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Yendrowich; and grandchildren, Rachelle (Quinnell) and Bryce (Courtney); and sister, Katheryn.

Tinie worked for several years with Duffy’s Taxi as a dispatcher, alongside raising her daughter. She enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens and loved baking, especially for the holidays. Family gatherings were something she cherished. The family would like to thank St. Boniface Hospital for all their care and compassion during the time leading up to her passing. In keeping with Tinie’s wishes, there will be a small, intimate family gathering at a later date.

God saw her getting tired,

And a cure was not to be.

So, He put his arms around her

And whispered, “come with me”.
