Valerie Leona Ireland

With sudden heavy hearts we announce the passing of Valerie Leona Ireland on September 17, 2025, at the Health Sciences Center while in care at the age of 71 years old.

Valerie's memory will be deeply cherished along side her 3 sisters, Debbie, Patti, and Lori; 2 brothers Roddey and Larry; nieces Briann, Desiree, Janel, Naomi, and Tiana; nephews Curtis, Shane, David, Justin, and Jarrid. Also, many more 2nd nephew and nieces. Lots of cousins, 2nd cousins and lifetime family friends, and best friend Donna.

She will be missed dearly by all.

Valerie loved to play pool in pool league, bingo every week, candy crush to pass the time even. She was never married or with children of her own, but she was an animal lover like no other. Her pets were her children. Even the strays shed happily adopt giving them a loving home always.

A memorial in her honor will take place at Holy Cross Lutheran Church this Sunday September 28th at 10:30am. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.

A celebration of life will take place a short time after in the early weeks of October 2025.
